    Default LOZ advice?

I'm gonna be close to bagnal dam this sunday, so I thought about draggin the boat along and lookin for some slabs. problem is, I have not fished that lake since I was a kid. and I have never fished below the dam, which I may try. so what would be the best bet, fish the lake or below the dam? and where on the lake can I safely run my 18ft tin boat? heck, I dont even know where any boat ramps are! I just wanna go fishin! any help is appreciated. thanks.

There is a small creek across from the boat ramp below Bagnell that is good when the water backs up in it and they have been running alot of water so chances are the water is in there, you can also check the metal pylon's on the left as you head up toward the dam i heard last week that some were being caught on minnows. You won't have a bit of trouble on the lake in your boat this time of year everything is still pretty quiet,pb2 boat ramp would be your best bet it is across the Glaize bridge on hwy 54,i fished that area yesterday and the bite was pretty slow the fish i did find was in 12' buried in brush but the bite should improve by sun, good luck and if i can be of any more help let me know.

Like bugman said there are some good areas around pb2. Its at the lake Ozark state park. Don't know where you are coming from, but there is also a ramp at Coffman Beach out of Eldon. Coffman Beach Access - Rocky Mount
Take Eldon Bus exit off of 54 go past Mcdonalds like your headin to Versailles to Hwy Y to Lake Road Y-20
14 miles SW of Eldon off Hwy. Y.
I'm headin down there tomorrow. Send me a PM and we could hook up and I could show you around if you like.
Proof is in the pictures. Top is nine and bottom is Slabbenstein!

FYI there is a Big F L W Bass tournament that ends today out of PB2,,I think the weigh in is at the Wal-Mart store today but there will still be traffic around the ramp area,,

thank you much, bugs, doc slabenstein and fuzzy! a lil insight goes a long way when I go to a new fishin hole! about all I know about loz is there are crappies and to use chartruse.
it looks like we are gonna try below the dam first, then if that fails us we are gonna hit pb2. if any of ya are in that area, I'll be in a camo polar kraft with a 90 yammerhammer. pull up for some b.s.ing and a coldie! thanks again!
