I`m looking at an aerial map of what I think should be Lake Show Me. But in the google map it says it`s called Memphis Lake. Just west 2 miles of memphis. Looks to be a small airport next to the lake.
I`d love to try this lake.
Also I`ve heard of Lake Wyconda from a friend, but not sure where this lake is located in an aerial map. I see a small lake about a half mile to the east of town. Would this be Lake Wyconda?
Also you talked of Fox Valley. I see its just down the road from Indian lake. Whats the intel on this lake?

yomoma, i don't know of a lake around wyaconda but that doesn't mean there isn't one. showme is about 2 or 3 miles west of memphis and a nice place. ther is an older memphis lake just south and west of town, i don't know anything about it but have heard it has silted in alot and real shallow. fox valley is a beautiful lake. it is very clear water, has standing timber, brush piles put in by the state, and a lot of laydowns. ihave done very well at times there and not so good at others, but hte lake is so pretty i always enjoy fishing it.

    Guys,

Wyaconda is right around LaGrange, MO.......probably 20 minutes west of Quincy, IL. I've fished it a few times with decent results....... pretty cool lake with motor restrictions. It kicked out some good crappie in the past few years, but I hear the population has dropped some.
