Thread: Smithville 10/28

Went to the ramp on W. Fished for 3.5 hrs. 10-14' deep. Caught fish on the trees, in the middle of coves, at the mouth of coves and even at the bridge pillars. Most caught .5 to 1 ft. off the bottom on the way up using a slow retrieve. Blue and white Bobby Garland tipped with minnows. Probably caught 20-25 fish, but only 5 keepers. How do the know to stop growing at 8.75 inches? The bite stopped once the wind stopped.
