    Talking Any Reports for Wapp


    I have been using this site for several years, just not a big talker so never signed up. Well, finally took the plunge today, so here I am, LOL.

    Anyway I have been doing real good on Wapp for several week spider rigging with extra weight and running faster speeds, until last weekend. I just couldn't seem to get on any last weekend. Plan on heading out again tommorrow if weather permits, anybody fished the last day or two.

    I have not fished Wapp since 1992, so my info is a little out of date.

    But welcome aboard anyway!!! :D

    I fished yesterday afternoon from about 3 until 8 and ended up keeping 15. I casted the banks with a jig and float the entire evening, never tried long poling. 13 were males and 2 were females. All the males were 9-10.5 and both the females were around 11.5. One of the female's eggs were oozing and the other's were a bit more firm. It was one of those days when every spot I had planned on fishing had a boat, or two, or five already there when I pulled up, so I got to fish a lot of new water (which turned out ok). My bet is most of the good fish have already dropped and moved back out, but who knows. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
