Another good day in the Glaize. Managed limits for the boat. White/chart was the best with today's high skies. Fished brush in 8-13 FOW. Had a great time. Fished from the 2MM to the 10MM in the arm.
Sounds like all is well in your area Scott, after this front passes they should make a move to the bank if they leave the water alone. Are the males all painted up and how are the eggs lookin?I may run down today or tomorrow,i just can't get worked up about fishin down there right now my trip to crappie heaven has ruined me for a good while i'm afraid.

Cleaned the last two days' catch this morning. 90% females. Really good quality fish overall. Had a 14.5 incher, 14 and several 13s in the batch. Bugs, some eggs were in sacs, others were pretty mushy. Heading home. A great weekend.

nice read Scott, sounds like a good fishing trip, may you have many more.
Today was a different story on the Glaize! Three of us scratched out 25. They were stupid scattered from 1' to 30'. One here and one there with very little rhythm or reason. All week was great but boy were they sour today!
We did have to hit a lot of piles for our limits, I will say. We rarely would pick up more than three keepers per pile. Backing off the pile and casting them with jigs first seemed to help. After that we went in to dip 'em with jigs.
You had a beautiful day to be out.

All week we did it off three piles but not today. Yes sir it was a unreal day to be out.
Oh, they know I am coming! It will be total lockjaw by Thursday!
I am like Pat McManus, you guys should pay me to stay away!
Scott......heard you got the boys out of bed Saturday night. They didn't look to good Sunday morning.
It was nice meeting you and Brian. One question.....can you ever get a word in with Brian around?
Nothing better than getting out on the water.
