    Default Farewell

I just wanted to let everyone on here know how much I have appreciated the friendship, comraderie, and advice that ya'll have given me. I echo what willsjwills said in that I have truly been impressed whith the folks around here. I am just sorry I found this group so late in my tour here.

I want to say a special thanks to torch, pstone, and rip-a-lip for going out of their way to take me fishin'. You guys went above and beyond and you should know that it will not be forgotten.

jstlovtofish, jimfish, and crappieman101, thanks for all the tips, late night and early morning phone calls, and friendship you have provided me. I value it deeply. I really enjoyed cooking with you guys at the camporee. That goes for you too, luvjign.

billbob, thanks for the bunk at Grenada, your generocity to a squid you just met still astounds me.

j white, you're just too nice a guy to be hanging out around here!

And a special thanks to rip-a-lip, who went far beyond what any guy could for in a new friend. You took a boatless fisherman to the lake every time he had any interest in going. You even showed my family an amazing time at your restaraunt. I am forever in your debt.

I won't drag on forever and there are too many folks to mention, but I wanted everyone to know that I have truly enjoyed my short time on this forum and I wish the best for everyone. Maybe someday the powers that be will see fit to send me back this way. I'll do my best to keep in touch and everyone please feel free to do the same.

Navy, may God watch over you and your family on your journey. We enjoyed having you around and some of the conversations yall had were just hilarious. Thank you for what you are doing and take care, you will be missed.

I am headed to school in Monterey, California. It's certainly not the environment your son is headed into. I have done those deployments and while rewarding, they aren't my number one way to spend 8 months! I will be out west for 18 months then its back to an operational status. As we say: "Haze grey and underway"

I have to say...what a great community of people that belong to this board. I remember being very tentative to put my first post on this board. Man am I ever glad I did. I have met tooooooo many great people to even try to mention everyone. You guys and gals are awesome!!!

Navy, the pleasure was all mine! It might be a stretch but perhaps you could get to one of the future Crapporees. You gotta a ride if you can make it.

    Tight lines my friend!
