I am willing to bet you are going to have a mobile transducer so you can see what's out in front of, or behind you. Kinda like catching a deer in the headlamps!

Looks like a device to convert downlooking sonar to sidescan.

    Kinda like this.

It is gonna be a variable pitch (center-left-right) variable arrangement. I fish a lot of buckbrush in the spring. Lots of brush in Big Sandy area. I been using th TM to "look" at the bottom of the brush for years. Fishes don't hang out at all the bushes. No sense in fishing where the fish ain't. Wears ya out pulling up on the TM a lot. Humminbird Sidescan wouldn't work good in this buckbrush. Too much stuff. Besides, It is Jon boat territory. Can't go in this brush with big boats. I sometimes get the Jon boat "hung up" in brush.

This should also work well to look at small channel banks.

I showed my pal Frank Lawhead a peak of where I go. Water was too low for us to get in the bush. haha

I shoulda done this a long time ago. One of them round tuits I guess.

Dont get the servo wet. I mean the least amount of water will destroy it. I have an RC car and decided it would be cool to take it out after a rain and "DRIFT" it on the wet streets. It ended up costing me $100 to replace the throttle servo. Looks ALOT like the servo you have there.

You are right. It is a Jumbo servo. I know how to waterproof it. I used them in my marine projects before. Thanks.

    Perchmaster,

Here is a link to one of my R/C projects. Works good. I like fooling with this rc stuff. I built a bunch of them from scratch.

Cane pole, the side scans are running some thing like 3 degrees width. I'm thinking your whole screen will be one solid blotch.
