This is my Grandaughters slab. Not like those down south but I popped buttons over this one. I never weighed it but it was 13 1/2 honest inches. She cast, set the hook and landed it by herself. It was the first time she went crappie fishing with me. It wont be the last thats for sure. She is hooked big time. The next day I took her again. When I launched the boat and tried to start it no juice. She was a little trooper but almost puckered up. I told her we would get her going if she helped. She's the best tool holder around. It was just a broke leade to the charger with the boat battery. We swiched the main over to the trolling motor battery and went fishing. She caught several more that evening. No 13s but a couple of 12s and lots of 10s and 11s,
