During my week long stay in the hospital I had 2 nurses ask if I wanted the tv on. Nope, glasses are at home, can't see it.
Some channels were deleted from the directv program I had years ago. Would have to get the next program up to watch them. We got a Fire Stik instead. Most of the channels I wanted to watch would cost a bit more. I stayed busy and didn't care for what my wife watched. Could rent or buy DVD's cheaper for the movies I cared to watch. I haven't watched a local tv program in 10 years. All the news, weather reports and movies I can find on my computer. I do very little computer stuff on my phone.

I've never been to a funeral like the one yesterday. There was visitation then funeral service. No graveside service. The grounds keepers don't dig a grave until the casket is ready to be placed.

That’s been the new normal for quite awhile around here. I haven’t been to an actual graveside service in probably 25 years. But I do remember the older times. Sat up at funeral home all night before, but too small to remember any wakes in the home.

Ive been telling my wife I want a viking/biker funeral at Pickwick.
May involve some of my buddies getting in trouble w TVA. So be careful what you promise me. I do plan on haunting people, and I have a list!

Bud you're my brother from another mother. Sitting up in the house waiting for my dead relative to sit up is in the past for this guy. My family has strict instructions to give me a Viking Funeral too.
