I haven't seen anyone square bale around here in years.
Before the chicks started laying I searched for a bale of wheat straw. I could have used the tiny bale found in stores but didn't want it. Could have drove over 100 miles to get a bale for $8, I caught a farmer sowing soybeans on his wheat field and asked for some. Sure, go to the other end where I haven't planted yet and get all you want. I raked 2 55 gallon trash bags full. That ought to be about 3/4 of a bale. Might last for years.
I spotted a pile of wheat in the area that the trucks were filled. Got 2 5 gallon buckets of wheat. My son ferments scratch for the chicks with added spices. Adds some of the wheat to it.
I watched the dealer's auction yesterday. An off brand spincast reel that looks like a Zebco 202 sold for $4. An off brand 3500 spinning reel sold for $8. Both sold by the carton of 4. I got a dozen Micro/USB 10 ft charging cords for $12.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

At the bin sale Thursday the semi Zebco 202 reel was $8 and the 3500 spinning reel was $12. He had 5 lb bags of breaded chicken tenders for $10 or 2 per case for $15. Don't know if it was the breading or over cooked but looked nasty. The cases were sitting on a pallet in the store. Nope, didn't buy any. At last night's auction the semi Zebco 202 reel sold for $10 and the 3500 for $15. I got a fishing rod bag for $5, I'll get it Thursday.
I carried a load to the scrapyard and got $29. I asked at the small items building for lead. Got 20 pounds of lead roof jacks for $3. Buck's had them for a while for $23 each.
No reason to find a quiet corner for a nap, just take one in the middle of the room.
No idea. I have gotten accustomed to weather from accuweather app on my phone. I used to have wtva app so I could keep up a little with local news.
But lets just say I came to have the opinion that they are very biased, to the point that they seem to be the mouthpiece/propaganda arm of one of our political parties. And promote things that run counter to my ways.
Finally decided that if news wasn’t happening within say, 10-20 feet of me, I just didn’t want to know LOL
I do skim world events on another site, so far they seem pretty even handed. 1440 news, they send me a short email 6 mornings a week while I’m having my coffee.
