I would think it would work good. Richard Gene has a video or two using gold and chartreuse jigs. The chenille is gold but I would think the opposite would work as well. That looks like it should work very good. Pretty jig.

Ewe, I had not thought of that. Reckon some of them might jump the Mississippi River to try to get to the jig? I had a friend who said there was a bass that used to jump the road between Lokafoma and Dole lake in the Noxubee Refuge. Said he liked to change lakes every so often.

Crappie logic ties for me a black/purple /bright yellow that is killer on Enid . That should work .

Paint the head green instead of chartreuse and call it "mardi gras". And with the size of the fish in Mississippi I would not care what color they bite.
