Just my thoughts, Dirt. But I don't it's doable in a year....not with our changing weather and lake levels and distance between Grenada and Butla. Definitely a challenge @

Has anyone ever thought about doing something with crappie fishing like turkey hunters do called a Grand Slam? Was driving yesterday thinking, If you caught a 3 pounder out of each of the Big 4 in the same calendar year and call it a Touchdown! (touchdown because football has 4 quarters)
Thoughts?

Here in the Smoky Mountains, catching a Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout in the same day is known as a Grand Slam. This has nothing to do with what you posted, but I’m getting stir crazy from all the rain!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
It would be tuff but 3 out of the 4 could be done most likely, a 3 pounder on Enid is a STUD for that lake. The other 3 could do it in a spring but you would have to be big time focussed and devote some major time to it.
Rees nailed it!

I would call it a Miracle ..If they are weighed, and verifies
Fishing for big fish is different than just fishing, if I were honestly fishing with my sights set on a 3 pound fish chances are I would not catch many fish that day unless they all were good fish.
Take Turkey Creek year before last, I caught fish all up and down the creek, miles of creek bed. But I caught BIG fish in just a few spots, one of those spots produced a 2.96 spawned out female who was weighed and released.
On Sardis I have a couple of places that I go to with bigger fish in mind, at Enid I'm lost, at Arkabutla as well.
I do believe that the best shot you have at a 3 pounder without a lot of lake knowledge is at Grenada when the lake is at 210 or lower, 222 like it was last year made it extremely hard.
Get enough pressure as is, don't offer nobody an award or nothing. Yankees be quitting there jobs in droves and spending every dime just to get a plague, then when they broke and busted who's gonna feed them?

Wow...never even thought of that before. It's possible for sure, but you are gonna have to put a lot of time on the water to accomplish. It would be much easier to catch 4 3lbers from the same lake.
