So much to learn, so much water, so little time.....
Now that I have this new rod, I guess it's gonna be another learning curve as I try to figure out how to use it...
Thanks Van's for donating it as a door prize!
Loading it up with some six pound line today, so I will be ready...
And, wondering if it's just the ticket for those Hybrid Stripers that keep busting shad all over the flats on the Rex!
I know I don't look thrilled in this pic, but I just wasn't ready...

Yep...You look real angry..
you leave that little jewel in the boat at all times.. it’ll come in handy. Years ago during the spawn boats were stacked up trying to troll around in shallow water and no one was catching anything. My son which was about 6 or so then. Grabbed it and said he was gonna throw it over there where no one was at.. well long story short.. we took turns throwing over there and left with a cooler of fish that 90% came off that little rod we could throw away from everyone.
That’s happened several times since then

Main Harbor docks and the docks in front of “The Breakers” hold fish this time of year. I may or may not hide in there and shoot some docks when the wind hard out of the South.
