    Default Sorry Low Life

Went fishing on Enid at the dam late this morning noticed a Nissan Titan window was busted out, so I called and reported it. As I was leaving this afternoon game warden was there said ELEVEN trucks had been broken into. It’s a shame a man can’t even fish a few hours now without worrying about whether his pickups safe or not. I hope they catch whoever it was and throw the book at Em!

Man I hate that! I can't stand a thief! If they would give stiffer penalties to the ones that get caught then folks might slow down the stealing!

Their has been a lot of that at Enid in the last 3 years. I fell like it's the same folks. Maybe they will catch them. DO NOT PARK in those out of the way launch sites.
I am so sorry for the folks who got vandalized.

They been breaking into vehicles at McCurdy, that's a stones throw from the field house. I've learned not leave anything that may look valuable in plain view, sometimes worry about my transom saver in the rear floorboard or my annual ramp pass. Sounds to me like the law enforcement officers need to set up a bait car / truck and nail the scumbags. Or better yet a couple of cameras at each ramp where the problem is existing the most.

This wasn’t an out of the way area. This was the Enid dam ramp right by the headquarters and in broad daylight.

Mccurdy point. That’s the one. You’d think that’s the most secure boat ramp on the lake. For sure the biggest one. The dock is there and right next to the Corp headquarters building.

The Corps could do something about this vandalism if they wanted to!! PUT SOME CAMERAS UP WITH WARNING SIGNS!! Dang! Enough is Enough!!

Thieves need to handled the same way as back in the old days. Either cut a hand off, and for repeat offenders just rid this earth of their existence because they didn't learn after their first mistake.

The more I think about Ricky's post on the vandalism at this ramp and the Grenada dock, the more it hacks me off!! (wanted to use another word). There is obviously a do-nothing full bird Colonel sitting down in a plush office in Vicksburg, MS. I'm going to get his name and address and send him a letter. He's only one rank higher than my retired rank, and I think I can get his attention, or at least make him aware of our displeasure. If nothing comes of that, I will find out his boss's name and write him. We as fishermen that are using his facilities deserve to have our property safe.

We used McCurdy ramp last weekend. I noticed several vehicles driving through and leaving on different days. Saturday, there were two warden trucks there. I didn't notice anyone broken into that weekend but I do know Big Blue's truck got into a few weeks before.
