    Default Went for a swim

How many of y’all ever fell out of the boat while fishing? It will shorten your fishing trip for sure. I’m in need of a new pair of Coasta sunglasses if anyone has a pair for sale cheap.

I did it one really cold January morning. I backed my boat in to go duck hunting, still had it on the trailer and was pulling the rope on that Evinrude 25. Went head over heels into the icy water. Got my freezing self back in the truck and went home. Went for a swim

I keep a dry bag in the boat with a towel and a change of clothes for just such an occasion.

A couple of years ago on New Years Eve. Involved the ol transfer from the boat to the dock ramp. The water was actually warmer than the air!

Have not fell out of the boat. But first trip wading this year stepped over a log and the waders ripped up the inside of my leg and instant cold water up to my chest. Next trip new waders, stepped in a hole filled them waders up.... thankfully i have stayed dry the last couple trips.

Got you beat . Had a Ranger boat that had a high thrust super dyno whoop ho . Hand control trolling motor you turned it on and off by pushing dimmer swithch controls . I'm fishing i Plummer slough with girl friend hit stump got knocked out of boat . But boat was still running and running away from me . There used to be a big female gator in there we had just past her on bank . Any way im trying to swim to keep up with boat and im also trying to tell girlfriend how to turn off trolling motor . To insult me even more there was another fisherman laughing at me and he was on his trolling motor trying to get to me . She finally hit the dimmer switch . I was many years younger i don't think i could have stayed up with boat now .

Well my story is the pedestal seat broke loose from the floor and in the water I went. There was a guy bass fishing close to me that got a good laugh once he realized I was alright.

I am glad you are alright. I am getting pretty old now and not as physically fit as I once was. How hard was it to climb back in the boat?

Scat if you hit the water go to back of boat and stand on cavitation finns on side of motor then hit the trim and tilt button on side of mortor it will tilt you right into back of boat . You cant climb over side like you once could .

It's a real job. Last time I was in the water I barely made it back in and that was with a ladder.
