What a difference a day makes.
Buddy complains about wasting time at eagle on Saturday with the wind and other 100 boats until he changed tactics and wound up with 20 sure nuff slabs several well over 2 lbs. me and another buddy had planned a trip on. Sunday and it appeared all of the weather conditions would be better. Everyone knew except the fish. Wonderful day but fish were scattered and not hungry. Wound up with 4 slabs. Talked to MDWFP folks who were checking and doing creel checks said that the most caught by 2;30 when we left was a guided boat with 17.
