    Welcome John. Good to see your post and interest in the group. There are not many members on here that fish the river, so I'm glad to know your there. I mainly fish the Aliceville and Gainsville Pools, but occasionally go north to the Columbus Pool. I also fish Grenada and Ross Barnett. Looking forward to your input and sharing info and ideas.     Welcome home . I think many prefer the big 4 waters but your area was where I started crappie fishing 35 plus years ago . The fact you can catch a limit and never see a person , makes it a diamond in the ruff . Love single poling the cypress .
