    Default Got Info. On Arkubutla


    Friday Rebranger and myself went to Butla and did a very intense electronic side scan search of the whole lake til dark. We found fish...there are crappie in Butla.
    So I must say that I maid a mistake by posting earlier that Butla was a dead sea, it is not dead...

    If they were crappie they are tight lipped. The gar, drum and slimers that people throw back instead of carrying home for their gardens or chickens.

    Yea it's gonna take some years for Butla to recover, IF it can ? The Core got what they wanted, a flood control lake. It's a lot of effort and money making a trip to it for the empty cooler you bring home. Rebranger and myself were gonna fish the crappie.com tournament there, but after that scouting trip we decided to back out, but good luck to the rest of yall ......

    All I can say is if we had a thread started every time someone got skunked on Butla then we would need a separate forum for all the butt-hurt!! Suck it up and move on!!
