    Default Ultrex

Plan on ordering mine this week with I pilot link. I am currently running a 999 bird at the front with 360. Will I need to order any other wires to make all this hook up to the 999 with the new ultrex? (I pilot link/ 360 all to 999 bird) also plan on putting the si transducer on ultrex. I'm Currently running an old edge trolling motor. So do I need a Ethernet switch or other wires? Just wanting to make sure I order everything I will need. Hate to drive an hour to get wires or parts when she gets here.

You will need the box, called a port I think and one cable to hook your depth finder to the box, you will take the cord off the 999 and hook it to the box from the 360, your new Ilink will come with a cord for it, so you will need one for the depth finder. Also, if you plan to connect the unit at the console you will need a cord for it too.
The Ultrex is a cool dude, been impressed by it but enjoy the stow and deploy too much on the Ulterra to give it up.

Thanks guys. I don't plan on hooking up the front to the bow bc I have a 997 at the wheel which my understanding is they can't be linked together I hate to ask so much but what cord will I need and also can I just get away with 3 port switch instead of the 5? Thanks in advance

Not sure they make a 3 port in this, be careful what you are ordering. They do make another hook up that is 3 port but it won't work in this application.

    997 will not Ethernet ...

Your 360 should have come with an Ethernet cable ...
ILink will come with an Ethernet cable ...

You still need the AS ETH 5XPG and an Ethernet cable for the 999 ...

They only come in 5 port. If you ever upgrade your 997 you'll be glad to have an extra port.

I would call Brian at bbgmarine, he will hook you up with all you need. Great prices too.
