Rain this time of year can be your friend..
How will all the fresh water affect things? More people at the spillway? Fish moving back out of the shallows?

We sure needed it here, little over 3 inches for us. Fished should move up in the rising water, find somewhere that is backing up clear and not muddied up.

Yep. 4 1/2 inches south of the lake. She gotta come up.
How can it help Dee? I have only been fishing the rez about 7 years now and I always see people fishing the welfare hole when its a current. I have always thought fish would run up into a few of the lakes to get away from the current but this will be my first time trying to find them. I'm fishing a little church tournament this coming weekend with my pastor and as soon As i had them found a flood comes. I wouldn't think fish would moved very far from where they were this weekend but who knows.
Shallow fish will move deep into the grass as long as it's rising

In my opinion, This time of year the fish will move as shallow as the water will let them.
I prefer a good current on the Rez vs nothing. U can take that with a grain of salt though. I've been on lake 3 days in my life and all 3 I fished a tournament. Caught plenty of fish all 3 times but the one day it was ripping was soooo much fun.
Well, since I am still in a long learning process when it comes to the Rez, I have a lot of options. Trying to eat this elephant one bite at a time, so I don't rip and roar all over the lake, and sometimes that means I waste time trying places that just aren't that productive at the time I am there. I don't like the fresh muddy water, but I can't change that, and the fish will still be there. So, we will go out and give it our best shot...
Bird, they'll be in the same spot you caught them in a few years ago right now.
