    Default Sardis Adventure!

Got to ramp around 12:00 started up the lake and motor started missing going dead and finally just quit. Felt like a fuel problem. Pull the top off looked at all the fuel lines. Check water separator and Fuels good. With my vision being what it is I tell Chance to look it over good. He sees a bundle of wires melted together in the harness leading to the coils. I might not be able to see it good but most of the time if I can find the problem and can get my hands on it I can fix it. At least that is what I tell myself! So here I go cutting wires and re-tying and taping. I can tell Chance is doubting my ability when he says let's just troll
back to the ramp go home to fix it. After a while I told him to crank it up and it run like a sewing machine. I could tell he had doubts about going to the other end of the lake. So we had to ride around in circles to prove to him it was ready to go. We head to the fishing grounds and don't get set up and start fishing till 3 o'clock. Day turns out better than I thought it was going to. Caught 16 with only 5 over 12 largest being 16. Weighed 2.10.[IMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170316/5c7ddeac22577cd89b5c4481e08206c7.

I had that happen to me twice unfortunately. Both times wires whr laid against the motor head in a way I guess just the vibration/shaking action of motor rubbed thru the wire casing over time. I keep a tool box with enough stuff to fix something easy if I can figure out what it is. Glad you salvaged the day. Nice catch.
