    Well what do y'all think about the hook 4x vs the striker 4cv garmin has out? I've always heard good on lowrance but not a lot on garmin.

    Garmin is looking pretty good to me. Kinda looking at the striker 4cv.

    Garmin is the leader in Gps...have not had their sonar, but bet they are good

    Garmin Striker only has blank background trackback to Waypoints feature ...similar to a smaller handheld GPS ...with no possible way to add contour mapping ...

    Hook has built in mapping/GPS ...with upgradeable mapping ...
