I broke three rods yesterday, two 12' and a 16 footer. All at one time.. trolling motor got stuck in mud and while pulling on the cord it broke sent me back out of the seat and landing on a stack of rods in the boat. The sound of the rods snapping was deafening... it worked out for the best started single poling and got into a mess. Mine are B'n'M as well, but it wasn't the rod it was me the big dummy that broke them sticks.. I do have a warranty on 16 foot from bass pro.. 12's we're orders direct from B'n'M.. so looks like I will checking out grizzly jig as well.

The rod was broke at the seat, it wasn't before.
I got it for $5, I'll go through my old rods and repair it later.
Ahhh. Nothing like the sound of saved money.

Ordered my replacement tips for my two 12's and one 16' today from Grizzly Jig. Price was $18.95 each didn't matter which length for the B'n'M PST rod tips. Bass Pro wouldn't honor the warranty because I didn't register it online within 30 days. Was on day 35 and wouldn't have made a difference anyway cause warranty doesn't kick in until the 61st day.. got to love Bass Pro customer service. I will use Grizzly exclusively from here on out.. got tired of being snubbed at Bass Pro in Memphis anyway.

Yeah I know Rees, they are proud of their inventory, but one of the only places you can get stuff on the now around here. Besides Sportsmans Warehouse, or Wally world. I'm learning to prepare.. only reason I bought my 16 footers from Bass Pro was cause B'n'M were on backorder and they couldn't promise getting them to me in a reasonable time frame. At least they were honest and refunded me my money the next day... I don't care much for Bass Pro. But we shore cashed in on that work over at the pyramid they remodeled.... so I call it even for now.

Grizzly is an awesome company. They have the best prices I've found on a lot of my crappie fishing stuff and just about everything I use for catfishing. I do get some stuff from Team Catfish...they have (in my experience) the toughest poles made, but all in all, Grizzly is my favorite store. I could spend two fortunes with them and not have everything I'd like to have.
