As long as we keeping getting some rain we will be fine.
If you look at the current levels, they are at the level the COE wants them to be for mid-April! They're about one month ahead of schedule looking at the Rule Curve! Is this good or what! Making of a good spawn if they don't pull the plug. Arkabutla, however, is another story. They'll suck it down as soon as the level drops down river. With the sunny weather predicted for the next 5 days, look for the dogwood buds to start swelling!

Agree w Rees. Get rain, we stay up. The longer we stay up the higher the curve gets.
Supposed to get more rain tonight.. I was on Arkabutla today scouting, it was rough. 235' and some change (2 feet below emergency spillway). I should have went south, but was worried about that possible stray shower ruining my day. Water is 59 - 61 degrees on Butla and water is spread out far and wide. Pleasant Hill was flooded up to the parking spaces, honor box at the ramps about 8 inches from being underwater.. be nice next week. Wonder when they will start drawing Butla down? Chances of rain coming next weekend again.. course our weathermen ain't always spot on ;-)
