Default Bee lake & Wolf lake

Anyone here have any experience on either Bee or Wolf lake. Thinking about checking them out near the end of the month. Thanks, Slabbo

I was born and raised in that area, I always went to those lakes and caught many crappie, But the Silver jumping carp are ruining those wonderful lakes, they are trying to rid both lakes of them. Last report was not good, call Game & Fish before you go. SORRY for this report.

I have a place on bee. Don't waste your time carp & high water have really hurt both of these lakes. We had a tournament on wolf in November wasn't good. If I were you I'd go to Barnett .

Used to catch a lot of fish at Bee. Loved the lake! Last 3 years were terrible... Two zero trips last year. MDWFP said there was a problem at Bee....seems like a mystery why the crappie disappeared.

Just as Wolf was trying to recover from the Flood of 2011, we just got it again. Carp and gar have been terrible since 2011.

The carp got Bee lake! I read that the mdwfp released a bunch of large alligator gar in the lake to try and manage the numbers but I am assuming that idea failed.

U can go to mwfp website and see what the results are from management/electro shocking surveys. One would think the future looks bright for wolf because there are a ton of 4 to 6 inch fish(back in October). But, the future is not bright! These fish will fight for food when there young because they depend on a lot of the same things the carp are destroying. And IF they don't starve to death they have an extremely high chance of being eaten by gar. But, if somehow they survive the gauntlet they will have plenty of shad to eat and likely grow to be big! But that chance, seems very very slim
