I don't know how many I will tie but I also struggle with tying knots, my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, I got those cheap reading glasses laying around everywhere.
I've been out in the garage getting ready for tomorrows trip and I got to wondering...How many knots will you tie this year?
I've got big hands and older eyes…tying knots with this little bitty crappie line is kind of a pain.

I got some regular eye glasses here somewhere but them wal mart reading glasses work much better...but like you say, tying them knots still gives me fits with my old fingers and eyes.

Well hi vis line and 10 lbs test help me a bunch . Never hurts to have a pair of them glasses . But you never can find them when you need them .
CATCH THEM ALL.
as long as the light is right i can manage without my glasses still but getting harder
loop, improved cinch, palmar .
I use 4 knots per rig on my C and C rigs. 2 on the 3 way swivel, and 2 more tying on the Fas Snaps to the drops. I usually tie about 100 rigs per year or so. I also tie crank rigs, etc. Probably 1000 knots a year. Tying the Fas Snaps is tough. The old eyes just ain't what they used to be, magnifying glasses or Knot!!!
I use palamar knots most of the time, but I use the Uni knot for tying on the Fas Snaps and things with to small an eye to use the palamar.

On my C&Cs, I use 7 knots. Just tied 140+ knots the last couple days. I try to do most of my tying in the recliner with some good light. On most day fishing trips, I figure I will tie 15-20 knots depending on how much junk is in the water. With my C&Cs, I also tie some hooks with leaders. When I break off on the lake, I will do what ever it takes to tie the least amount of knots possible and get back to fishing. I gotta check out the Uni? knot. I pretty well always use a palomar, but will throw in some snell knots cause it just looks pretty and catches tons more fish than the palomar.

Snap swivel, uni knots times 2 hooks per poles times 10 to 15 poles. uhh 20 or 30 to start... then one of my boys gets hung and I fix it promptly.
