    Not thinking to much just curious about how the guys figured their info..... not to mention its their info that most of us use as a general reference.

    I wasn't referring to you, per se. It's good info. Noticed the article he eluded to how it should be used as a general reference and not be considered gospel. I use the chart to get me in the ball park, then adjust as needed.

    Gotcha.... I never put much thought into it till folks started debating it here recently. After reading thru it it shows its exactly what u said, a reference, not gospel.

    Birds chart. Saris Gold, 1.5 mph, 120 ft out. Start tube socking. And don't worry about anything else but the scenery.

    I catch more going with the wind.....don't know why but maybe because my boat isn't bouncing as much.
