Thread: Line out vs rod tip height info.......

Not thinking to much just curious about how the guys figured their info..... not to mention its their info that most of us use as a general reference.

I wasn't referring to you, per se. It's good info. Noticed the article he eluded to how it should be used as a general reference and not be considered gospel. I use the chart to get me in the ball park, then adjust as needed.

Gotcha.... I never put much thought into it till folks started debating it here recently. After reading thru it it shows its exactly what u said, a reference, not gospel.

Birds chart. Saris Gold, 1.5 mph, 120 ft out. Start tube socking. And don't worry about anything else but the scenery.

Do yall catch as many fish going into the wind as you do going with it?

In the wind with the wind and no wind. Don't matter. What matters is placing your bait in front of a hungry fish.

I catch more going with the wind.....don't know why but maybe because my boat isn't bouncing as much.
