    Looks good tome feesh . I stay most of the day yesterday didn't bring a fish home . saw a guy catch a couple on minners . it was white capping when I left the hole . Several boats in there but didn't see a fish caught .

    I caught half of them in the hole and went up river for the rest. I looked around long lake and the S curve but by the time I got there the wind was way too rough.

    I was going to long lake but the wind was to much already . went up the river tried a few spots nothing . at least it was out of the wind . I hope to grow up and catch fish just like you and gdg do .

    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

    It was good to meet you Feesh. Let me know whenever y'all make it down this way again.

    I ran back into some old sloughs right after you showed up at the bridge. Picked up a rope in the prop and managed to send my cell phone to the bottom of the channel trying to get it back out. When it rains it pours I guess. I found a pocket with some 56-57 degree water up there and found a few good specks in shallow water. They were holding tight on the tops of submerged stumps. Only picked up black crappie once I left the hole. Wound up with 10.
