You are right, at some point there is going to be a real problem and somebody is going to do something stupid. Story from last year: I am from IL and came down to fish Arkabutla last year. On my way to the lake we stopped to help a lady and her daughter fix a flat tire. She was very appreciative and told me she didn't know Yankees could be so nice. She also said a whole lot of Miss plates went by without stopping.
After I fished that day I came back to find my truck keyed all the way around. Cost $2000.00 to fix. Made me wonder about helping other people, but I would do it again because we should just treat people right.

I still don't see how it is anyones personsal property. This is the USA. We all salute the same flag, say the same pledge, eat the same ice cream and call it our land and home of the free. Do we have same attitude when folks from another state bring supplies or aid during a relief operation like the Katrina recovery. I think this prejudice is a terrible sickness. We all have seen bad behavior and it exists everywhere, but i can move on. Keying vehicles, cutting tires and vandalism are acts of criminals not normal citizenship behavior. Let's think about these things before real trouble exists. A Missourian last year decided to discharge a firearm because a boater was fishing his Missouri hole, the shooter was arrested for assault and won't be fishing for several years! Happened at Lake of the Ozarks last Spring. Will gladly waste a day of fishing to put some criminal in jail!

Default Can't we all just get along

You have those kind of people in every state. It don't matter if you are from Il as I am, Mo, Tn or Ms for that matter, they are everywhere and from everywhere. The only thing that matters is the good bunch of people who have the same thing in common, we love to crappie fish. I have as much fun elbow to elbow below the dam at Arkabutla as I do on lakes in Canada where I don't see another boat for days. I fish Ms, Mo, Tn, and Il and met some really great people along the way, you may be one of them. So and catch some fish.

thak you for agreeing with me im not saying all il and mo and other out of state people are rude like this but theyre seems to be mor disrespectful ones than nice ones. my dad is 64 years old he was wadeing on a flat on grenada lake in 2and a half feet of water and a huge lund boat from mo with he said looked to be about a 90hp mercury motor came by him less than 50yds still on the pad shortly after their motor hit bottom and needless to say they had theyre work cut out for them for the next little bit. my point is is they threw a 2ft wake across where he was fishing and almost knocked him down not very nice i witnessed a couple guys from il were in a big nitro with a 200hp mercury was fishing a top bout 20yds from me they caught a couple fish and when they decided to leave they cranked up theyre motor and moved boat on top of top and gunned it threw water and limbs everywhere and they left like a rocket splitting boats that were no more than 60 yds apart this stuff is why im pissed
