I just made mine with a couple of 2 oz weights, a swivel, some small chain(don't know what it's called) like you might hang a heavy picture and some strong cord. Attach all to one end of the cord with three pieces of chain(maybe 6" long) and cut yourself maybe 40' of cord and wrap it around a stick or something. You attach the swivel to your line with the hung up plug and get directly over it and jiggle it up and down until it gets caught in the lure and give it a pull. Saves a lot of plugs but can be a little hard on hooks.

Bass Pro Shops ....... EZ Lure Retriever Kit...Stock number 21-421-808-00 $12.99

This works great when hung up pushing cranks....however its not worth a flip if you get hung up pulling cranks because you have to stop the boat to use it and with those lines out so far behind the boat etc...the cranks will float up and get all tangled. But it is worth the money and I have saved some lures with it.
