Met Joey at Tims Ford for a day of fishing. This morning the bite was on pretty good. We ended the day with 20 keepers and a ton of fun. Water temps are upper 60's. All fish caught on jigs 1/16th, or 1/32nd tipped with muliple brands of plastics.

Oh the joys of minner fishing!! That is why I use jigs so much so that I do not feel guilty about killing the poor defenseless minners! Glad you had a great trip. I got to go with my Dad on Friday after the storms. We went to Normandy and caught 6 keeps and several shorts. 1 5+ catfish, 1 2+ catfish, a nice smallie that got away, estimated over 4lbs and great company. Left the water at 5pm and did not start until 11am. All the fish were caught shallow and ready to go.

Went to Tims Sunday morning and man was it foggy. Put in about 6:30 and slowly worked my way to some docks. Stayed at those same few docks until about 7:30 or 7:45, I didn't want to get out on the channel until some of it (fog) burned off. The wind started to get up a little and I loaded the boat around 12. Fished docks all morning and finished with 8 keepers. Had maybe 3 short fish. This is first time I can remember going crappie fishing that I didn't stop and get minnows. All caught on b/g white and chart. or electric chicken. Dave has me hooked on shooting docks. It's become one of my favorite ways to fish.

Minners are a thing of the past.........Dawm and I went Sunday afternoon to Tims.Went all the way to Rockcreek and didnt do too well there....We did see Todd and I started to let my motor pee in his boat seat but he was taking out so it wouldnt have had the desired result......Went back down toward the bass club and found a few ....Gave 11 keepers to a couple of young men fishing from the bank....We didnt find most under docks.
