Default Got to love spring time Crappie Fishing

Well i decided to take a couple of days vacation this week and try to restock my freezer. Especially since we had a limit in the tourney saturday. Got to the lake at about 6:30 Am this morning and headed out to Saturday's hole. Man there was a boat on every tree in there. So i hit another spot that has been pretty consistant over the years and the water was so clear you could see 6ft down, did mange to pull a couple out of there before they got spooked. Headed over to another of my holes and caught 3 more. The wind picked up about 10:00 and I got off the lake. Ended up with 5 decent fish ,but i was hoping for more. Oh well it definately beat working. Whenever i got back to ramp i couldn't believe the number of boats out there for a tuesday morning. Morris Ferry was almost full.

Sounds fun. The wife and I went to Woods Sunday for a half a day. We ended up catching 10-14 different fish. We actually caught some decent size stripe close the bridge on the Morris Ferry side. Caught 4 in the 2-3 lb range. Really fun on ultralight.
