    Default Woods 3-10 Report

Think Pink. That was the word of the day! JT and I got to woods at about 2pm on Saturday to great conditions. No wind, perfect skies and the fish were biting. I went to my regular shallow spots and bingo there they were. Everyone else was crusing the depths and we starting catching them about 3' deep under the float. Pink and white was the color of the day by far. We ended up with 10 keepers and about 40 shorts. The males were starting to color up but were far from spawn conditions. Water temp was 56.

Glad someone is giving a report. As nice as yesterday was I knew someone had to go and catch fish.

Ive been really busy lately but did get up to Woods about 3 pm saturday afternoon with BigOrangeSlab for a couple hours fishing before dark. Found a few lost fish but nothing to brag about, but we did put them all back to have another day. We didn't catch anything that would give anybody a run for their money next saturday. Randy you have the gps coordinances handy? I may needa borry em.

Sounds like a good trip. Good to see Toby and Tracy as they headed out for second shift. I posted about my day in a post called "the Dark Side" on the main forum. I have some video to post once I figure out how. Family for me this weekend, Y'all have a good Tourney. Be safe.
