Thumbs up Should be Fishing Weather Today

Well after many, many days of not too good a fishing weather, today actually looks like it could be a rather nice day to be out fishing. I am sure there are some who will get to today. I dont expect any detailed reports but if somebody could report a local lake water temperature, it would be much appreciated. I havn't got to fish but once since our last tournament and it was just a quick trip to a small lake close to home.banghead I spoke to a friend of mine who fishes the Guntersville area and he told me that monday the water temps were 44-46 degrees. That was coming right off the very cold weekend though.

Usually by now on tourney week, there is some propaganda posted already. lol. Since the weather has been tough for fishing lately, it may be less for that reason. Still there are things we should all take into consideration before this next tourney. First off, "The Shootist" has never lost a tourney. Secondly, his partner Jason now has caught the biggest fish ever recorded at any of our weigh-ins.:Hands Clapping Both these guys fished Tims Ford in our last tourney. This saturday, being another LOC tourney, where is the majority gonna go fish now? Normandy seems like a wise choice as well with last years February Big Fish tourney winners coming from that lake. Even the second place teams catch came from Normandy last February. Oh, btw, did anybody realize these were the same two fellers who schooled us last month? Judging from their history, these guys know what to do to catch cold water crappie. Maybe one of them will post and tell us what lake they will be choosing on saturday.Rofl We would then know they gonna choose one of the remaining two left.

Big baits and a slow presentation, if I'm not mistaken. Good luck fellers, I got folks in from Atlanta this weekend.
