    Default Tims Ford rig.......

Im sure everyone has heard the hoopla about the Alabama Rig and I was looking at a way to make one that is legal in Tennessee and light enough for crappie fishing, mainly for trolling or jigging...I have made a few and havent had time to testdrive one but will this weekend....If any of yall are interested in trying one let me know.....I dont think the willl be worth a flip for shooting though

I have one a guy gave me with 3 leaders on it. It's a bit heavy for crappie but I will try it out soon. Will report how it went.

I tried about 5 different size wires till i found the lightest and most durable. I might troll one some this weekend if it doesnt rain....

There was a bass tourney going on this past Sat. at Woods and a boat close to us was throwing a Ala. rig. It looked like it was the size of a soccer ball when he was throwing it.
