    Default New to Middle Tenn

Hello, all. I just got transferred to the area and bought a house in Winchester. I'm interested in learning Tim's Ford crappie and meeting some like-minded, local crappie junkies. I see I missed your last meeting, but will try to make it February 16th, if you are accepting new members.

Welcome to the greatest area in the USA for the fisherman...If you live in Winchester you have
Tims Ford within 10 minutes and produces good crappie, bass, small mouth, catfish, blue gill, walleye and rockfish
Woods reservoir is within 20 minutes which produces the same but has an advisory about eating catfish
Normandy Reservoir which has crappie, spotted bass, walleye,lm bass catfish and a good population of walleye
Guntersville about 1.5 hours away is the best bass lake in the USA according to a lot of Pros. also big bream and crappie
Nickajack is about 50 mnutes away has bass crappie and monster shellcrackers
I dont know who made you transfer to this area but you should hug their neck.......Enjoy the area...
We will be having a tournament Saturday and the weigh-in will be at the estil springs park at 3 pm....Come on down there and mingle with the folks...Dont be afraid to ask questions here, we are here to help.....

Welcome from Manchester. You'll have fun learning the area, and these guys will shorten the learning curve for you like they did for me a few years back. Good fishing, get out your woolies. We stay busy all year.
