Until I got in this club, I didnt even know where Normandy was or how to even get to that lake. I will have to say, its nice to have another place to choose now. As far as saturday is concerned we chose Normandy thinking we may have a better shot at a bigger fish there over Woods, and Woods was having the bigger bass tournament going on and we thought let's stay away from that.
I aint skeered to report today's results but I'm not cuz I show dont want no cumpknee in da moanin sides my potna. Knowmandy is a turnin on. John and I fount fish 2day and wees gonna go back after em n da moanin. Good luck to yens all and we speck to sees ya all at 330 fer da wayin.
remember that train I know it comes along at 3:30pm and 6pm on 127 seen that tuesday had to back my boat down the left lane past 4 cars after a 35 minutes of wighting so don't be late
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL YOU MID TN FISHERMAN! Normandy can be fickle and the best day can be followed by a skunk. I hope y'all post the results and how they were caught tomorrow. Limits for everyone!

Jlittle, If I catch anything at Normandy I will post the bait, color depth and general location just because I will be so proud to catch anything on that lake.

I saw this thread and thought I would give those of you fishing there where to catch some really nice Crappie. Take your boat and go to the parking lot directly below the dam...park...walk down to the base of the dam. There is your best spot for some big Crappie. Now for those of you who think I am being a smart ***...there really is some nice Crappie in the pool there. The only problem is you have to keep the Trout off the hook this time of year.
I have heard about the crappie below the dam before and dont doubt your word at all....Just never stopped there and fished it...I have only been on Normandy about 4 times in my life.Maybe We will be the blind hog that finds the big acorn tomorrow.

Ya my wife caught a 1 1/2 lb blacknose crappie down there in that pool on a 1/16 oz rooster tail fishing for trout a couple of years ago.
