    Default simcoe perch (canada)

just got back from a three day trip to simcoe lake in Canada .
hard to beat this lake for jumbo perch.
we brought back 100 each , almost all over 10 inches , had about a dozen larger than 13 , with big perch of 14 1/4.
wife had a blast, drop down to the bottom, reel up slack and set the hook, most times had two fish on.
stayed in pefferlaw, south east corner of the lake.
    minnows were the ticket.

Was wondering when you were going back there! Been hearing great reports out of that area in the last few weeks.

Lake Erie is still running strong too. The size is the problem. No better fish fry than perch. I'll take those over all other fish anyday of the week! Wonda looks like she had fun too

I have not fished erie for the fall perch in 20 years, I keep hearing that they are doing well , but lots of sorting.
that is what I like about simcoe , when you find a school of good fish at least half will be 10 inches or better.
I would go every year if I had more vacation time.........or if I was RETIRED!!!!
