If it does, do a little research on the various seals and to do this you made to rig up a little air pressure only about 10 to 15 lb and then use the soapie bubbly stuff to see if there's any leaks. And be sure to check where the ships rod goes into the foot because there is a little bellows type rubber seal there. Mine was bad and it was constantly getting water into gear caseName: PXL_20240301_043746129.MP.jpg

Gear oil looks good, motor kicked off and ran nice and quiet (but I kicked it off after 5-10 seconds of not seeing the tell tale water stream) This motor looks PRISTINE, outside and under the hood! I just had a stroke, then heart surgery, and found this boat to "flip" to basically cover my "out-of-pocket" expenses. I've changed water pumps/impellers on my other boats, and it isn't a tough deal.....usually an annoyance. HOWEVER, after being released from "ZERO ACTIVITY" restrictions to "LIGHT RESTRICTIONS", it is nice to be able to tinker a little (some much needed "therapy"). I refuse to sell anything that is going to give trouble to anyone on the water. I bought it with the understanding that it ran fine, but over the winter 5 years ago, a raccoon got under the tarp and destroyed everything. The person had it reupholstered, but couldn't get it all figured out with the wiring. SO, I redid all the wiring, went to fire it up to try it out.....NO PEE STREAM!

I have ordered the water pump kit, and will replace it when it gets here Monday. It will let me have a good frame of mind knowing that when I sell it, it is the absolute best it can be! I know that I wouldn't want my boat to break down with my kid on it when we are out fishing trying to make memories.....
