No Worries guys...
I called Millennium Marine and they are sending me the new gen 2 lower shaft assy to upgrade mine to a stronger unit (the gen 1 upper is universal to the gen 2). The part I broke was made obsolete about 3 years ago.

I bumped into a dock with my rod holder last week and broke the lock ring that goes around the main pipe on my 4 rod Gen 1 spyderlok. Can you buy parts for them? I sent a PM to EZPoleholder with no response....
Thanks,
Chris

Seems like something a little "Springie" would be a good idea so that a bump would not break something...
When I "bumped" the dock the wind was howling and pushed me into it as I used side imaging to look under it. It really was a pretty solid lick. I'm surprised it didn't pull the screws loose in the floor. The weak link was the lock clamp and it was a good thing it broke and protected the boat and the rest of the holder. Maybe the fine folks at Millennium will see your suggestion and incorporate it into a future Gen3 Spyderlok!
