Your store is better than mine. I’ve soldered all of mine for more years than I’ll admit to and have never had an issue with one. Salt water will ruin crimped lugs so I really had no choice if I wanted them to be dependable.

Agree , solder, is only way I go, if I can. Short wires in batt. Gas tank box , heck no. In those situations, I use the big crimper tool, an shrink, most forget. You need to protect that connection.
Most important connection. I spray with batt. spray crc . That's 1 of the critical connection's.
