Supposed to be here today. As soon as I get them on the boat trailer, I will post pics and give my opinion.

I have the Drotto latch. I let my tailgate down before I back the trailer in. Once the boat has latched I step off the bow onto the tailgate, down on the rear tire and on the running board and to the ground. It is a lot easier than trying to climb down on the tongue of the trailer. I will be 72 Monday and fish alone It works really well for me.

I have not installed the step thingie, but the winch has been mounted.
I was able to crank my boat up to the winch very very easily. Very steep ramp and no problem. Didn’t even need to shift gears either. The handle is longer and the winch is more than a match. I am very pleased and can highly recommend such an upgrade to everyone. The install was easy. My boat trailer did not have the “industry standard” hole alignment, so I simply drilled. From there the rest of the install was very easy. A simple upgrade that is worth the money.
Maybe they will bite this one……CrappiePappy LIKED above post
That step looks awesome

If that step is cheap, it’d make a good diy ducer pole mount. Kinda like a hand controlled trolling motor trim.

Have you considered a "Self Centering Keel Roller" for the trailer?
Guides it to the middle, nice and smooth.
That roller up front and the guiding poles on the back of the trailer really help loading in wind or deep launches, like the one mentioned.
