The motor has a standard tiller handle. I don't see how the throttle and shift works. Do u just reuse the throttle and shift linkages from the original?
Anyone ever install one? Mine came with no instructions. Merc wants 25-30 for an install manual. Greed.

Two types of motor platform designs over the past years. One has a traditional Mercury design with a twist type shift rod. The other has a push/pull vertical design. One uses two cables to pull the throttle up and down. The other uses a single cable to push/pull. You'll need the correct big tiller.

IT is the merc big tiller handle from Uflex with hydraulic assist. This tiller fits up to 150hp merc 4 stroke. That is what they advertise. Uflex gets the handle from merc and adds stuff for zero torque. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. Impressive looking device for sure. Merc dealers (local) said they could install it. Neither have ever installed one, so I too can read. No install book.

Not sure Cane but on the Yamaha big tillers you have to order a separate "fitting kit" which has the appropriate length/type cables as well as the wiring harness. I wouldnt think the Merc would be the same though because their tiller is so much more.
