They have black stick on non skid stuff different widths at Lowes....its made for stair treads....but it will work. It's comes in different sizes....comes in a roll.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

If you step on the trailer tongue, in the process of getting to the step, the non-slip would help there also.

Being that the launches I use the truck tires are at the waters edge. It is a pretty good cl8mb thrpugh the bed of the truck to the trailer tongue

Mine has to be too far back to get to the tongue without boots, so I let down my tailgate and step over in the back of the truck, on the tailgate and on to the boat. Do the reverse when I load. I know at 70 there will be a day when I can't climb over into the bed but for now it works good.
