I have a 25EL Mariner. I don't want thermostat. I don't care how cold it is....I want to see it peeling. It'll warm up. jmo

Engine is a Yamaha 25elrr.
How long should the engine operate before it starts "peeing"?
Air temp was approximately 65°f, water temp (muffs) approximately 75°f.
Are these thermostat s reliable?
Should the stat be removed?
Does the engine operate better warmer?
Thank you

Should always run thermostats especially 2 stroke. Running to cool causes them to carbon up bad. Cooler weather they sent going to pee much. Just put hand in water if warm your doing good. Even a stuck open thermostats are better than none. Gives it some restriction and thus warm block.
