    Default replacing Terrova seals?

I found some fishing line in my Terrova propeller and upon inspection, I found that it trashed the seals. Is there any easy way to remove these seals other than a pick and pliers? Thanks.

Here is a diagram. Remove 2 bolts that hold seal end on. Hold in on shaft as you slowly remove the housing so as not to pull it out of the brushes. Put a little lube on shaft will make it easier. Push seals out from back side. Then just reinstall. Once done there is a YouTube video on tuning your trolling motor you might watch.

There are 2 seals that face the same direction with a cardboard spacer in between. The outer one is easy to punch out. The inner one you need to bend the end of a screwdriver to be able to clear the bushing to knock it out. Good luck

Thanks guys. I have my new seals and they didn't come with that cardboard spacer and I don't see where I can just order one of them. Mine was torn in half when I removed the seals. There must be some reason they put it there I am just unsure why? Thanks again.

Im guessing to keep the second seal from pushing on the lip of the first. If you do some carefull measuring you can get it right. Even a little farther out wont hurt.
