    Default Lower unit oil for E Tec?


    I know I can only use AmSoil or XD100 for my engine oil on the E Tec, but what about lower unit oil?
    Does it have to be certain brand? Or a certain weight?

    Any gear oil that is rated GL-5 will work.

    And these things are so handy. Must have for lower unit oil.

    If it is still under warranty I would not use AmSoil if your E-tec is set to XD100.
