Rewiring Entire Boat
I have a 1860 aluminum boat. very nice , heavy duty hull. I am going to be doing a total restoration on it this winter. Side Console. All electrical including trolling motor ( 80# 24v terrova I pilot link) and 75-90 hp 4 stroke will be new. Unless I find a quality used motors during restoration. I was wondering if anyone knows of a nice schematic ,and wire sizing chart I can use ? The original wiring is not a clean install, and has been "modified " to say the least . I want everything NEAT !! Trolling batteries (size 31 ) will be located in new battery storage compartment about 6 ft from T. Motor. I will be using a 2-battery 12 volt (likely size 27) in rear storage for big motor and everything else. Planning on pulling the floor up and running everything in conduit, and installing a nice, fused switch panel at console, but also want disconnects/ fuses at batteries. I want nice terminal strips to keep everything clean. Hoping to get onboard chargers for 24 and 12 volt circuits. Any pics , advice, or quality marine part recommendations are greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance!!!Accessories that need individual circuits include:
)1 live well
)bilge pump
)tilt/trim
)helix 9 ( will likely add another helix later)
)nav lights
)courtesy lights (pulling future wire to bow for spotlight)
)tach
)speed odometer
)amp meter
)fuel gauge
)start switch
