Sure seemed liked a good deal to me and 27 series batteries should be big enough for me. Plus cray when my daughter starts Mississippi State this fall I need to save every penny. LOL

Yep, just made the last payment on mine this month. Could have bought a new diesel truck and ranger fisherman fully outfitted with change left over. But it's been worth every penny.

Good batteries, mine can go 2 days before a recharge when on vacation. I will get the same ones when I have to replace them. I've had this set for 6 years so far, probably replace them next year.

I've used Cabelas AGM batteries for 5 years now. I own six of them in different sizes. They always run a huge sale sometime in March, then again in April, and May. The savings go down a little each sale. The bigger sale is in March. I watch for it every year.

How's this for kick in the butt. My order was placed on-line to ship to store for pick up. I ordered 2 batteries and a battery tray. I got a robo call order was ready for pick up. Went to store gave order # and employee gave me my battery tray and said thanks. I said I all should have 2 batteries to pick up so she looked again and said they are not in yet. So first I drove up to store to pick up just part of my order? 14 days total have gone by so I got on line to get the tracking of my order. I pull it up and it say's the batteries have been cancelled!!! No one even called me to tell me this and how could I place the order in the first place if they were out of stock?? For the most part Cabelas has been good to me over the last 30 years and lord knows I have been good to them LOL but this sure was a kick in the gut.

    Swampseed,

I have noticed some issues in regards to their batteries this year. Well, not so much batteries as opposed to the ordering and delivery of said named batteries. I assume it has something to do with their supply chain (I.E the manufacturer) not keeping up with Cabelas in regards to the correct numbers they have on hand.

The batteries online and in catalogs do not match up to what they actually have. When you look online, it will say available, then after you go to place an order, it is unavailable. You can do a search for a battery at the local store and it will say "out of stock" yet you can go to the store and they have 15 of them.

I feel for you but it doesn't surprise me.
