If I see it happening agen where do I look next? the trailer is for 18` boat mine is 16` I don`t think it is to heavy. Could axil be bent?

If it was worn both inside and outside on the same tire bet you ha BisPly tires. That is a natural characteristic of bias tires. Not much you can do about it. Best ting is to replace them when you can with radial trailer tires not automotive tires. I would think if your axle was out of align 3/4 in you would have drastic wear on inside of one tire and same wear on outside of the opposite tire.

They are bisply tires. One was waren on in and outside bad the other was bad on inside and not as bad on outside. I put bisply back on in case that don`t fix it. once I`m sure it`s right i`ll upgrade.

One thing on bias, air pressure is super critical to wear. Since you moved the axle watch for any sign of that inside outside wear on opposite tires.
